PROJECTS
I have experience leading and collaborating on projects for legacy, local, and digital-first newsrooms. My areas of interest and expertise include: audience and community engagement, product development, social media and communications strategy, and UX design. I'm particularly invested in finding human-centered design solutions for newsrooms. Check out what I've been working on lately:

Vox.com
Role: Audience Engagement Strategist
Timeline: July - December 2021
For my capstone project, I partnered up with the audience engagement team at Vox.com to develop, design and prototype a new product to help Vox make crowdsourcing part of audience's routine, driving more robust and routine participation from readers.

The Boston Globe
Role: Project Manager
Timeline: January - May 2021
As part of a second-semester Studio 20 project, I led a team of seven classmates in the creation of three unique products for Globe Opinion that help showcase diverse points of view, model more productive debates, and engage with younger audiences.

The Epicenter NYC
Role: Project Coordinator
Timeline: December 2020 - February 2021
In partnership with The Epicenter NYC newsletter, I led a team of four in the design and launch of a low-cost, flexible model for building strong relationships and collaborative reporting in the community. Our team was awarded second-place prize in the 2021 Reynolds Journalism Institute's Student Innovation Competition hosted by the Missouri School of Journalism.
